Mithrilguard is one of the oldest guilds on Tarren Mill, formed at the very beginning of the game on Deathwing, before transferring to Tarren Mill. Our guild consists of members from all over Europe, most of whom are over 20 years old. We enjoy a mature, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, favouring the social aspect of the game above all.
We are mainly a PvE guild, visiting level 85 dungeons as well as lower level dungeons with alts. In addition we organize 10-man raids twice a week (Tues/Thurs 8-11pm), currently getting read to start Cataclysm raiding. We also have occasional alt runs to other raid dungeons. Our aim is to experience as much of the game content as possible, with a good group of people and, most importantly, to have fun while doing so.
Applications are currently open for all classes, both raiders and non-raiders alike. We expect of you to be mature and friendly, with a sincere interest to contribute to a stable and fun guild environment. Our raiders are expected to be focused, prepared and on time for all raids they choose to attend.

As a fifth anniversary of the forums I was planning on installing and patching a proper guild site. However, in the wake of this weekends patching problems and database crashes I decided to move to a CMS now rather than later - the timing couldn't have been better considering the imminent release of Cataclysm.
This is a Joomla CMS with some extra addons, as you may or may not have noticed. Now, if you want the site to change, if we should add anything to it please feel free to tell me and I'll get on it. However, I'm not doing any back door samurai patching of code. I prefer authorized add-ons.
Also, as you can see the themes are still not patched to say Mithrilguard, so if you're a wizard with Gimp or any other application feel free to change the header image to say something other than "your guild".
